but i don't know how to implement this on official moodle repository, i
have edited "mod/lesson/view.php" and "mod/lesson/lang/en/lesson.php"
file.

Can your code work at Course level?
We use the Configurable Reports plugin. We need to keep track of time spent on our courses, not the lessons. I don't have the skill to produce a report using that plugin which allows us to run a report to show students' time spent on a Course from a particular date to another date. If you could help, it would be much appreciated.
Either at Course level or Lesson level, I am sure it would a useful report for many people who have to report to other people
