I just tried to whip up a little SQL report that would give me details of all new courses (from mdl_course) created in the last week. I was hoping to run this weekly.
SELECT * FROM prefix_course WHERE from_unixtime(timecreated)>CURDATE() - interval 7 DAY
However, it hit a snag when I discovered that the neither the "timecreated" nor the "timemodified" fields contain the time the actual course record was created.
Here's the issue:
When we create a new course, we create it by restoring a backup file of a standard template that was created some time ago. When I restore to a new course, using that template, the "timecreated" just copies the value from the original template, rather than using the time that that particular course record was created.
Does anyone know where I can find the timestamp for the actual creation of a new course?
