Does the Office 365 plugin (https://moodle.org/plugins/repository_office365) connect only to Office 365 SharePoint accounts, or can it connect to locally installed instances as well?

Also, is it feasible to use the WebDav repository plugin to access SharePoint files? There was some conjecture on this board that taking files from Moodle 2.x to SharePoint didn't work (due to file extension stripping), but no conformation of how things went the other way.
