I'm a little confused as I've ran into an issue I can't solve.
We have the default 'Manager' role and I've recently had a couple of reports that managers can no longer create courses in their categories. They see the 'Add a course' button, but when the type in the names of a course and click save it just loops the page around saying that they need to fill in the required fields (even when they have.)
The strange bit is that, if you have the 'Manager' role in a category context, you run into this issue, if you have the same role at system context, you don't. System assigned managers - It works fine and creates a new course.
Can anyone work this out? Same role, different outcomes.
