Auto add badges to students on course completion

Hey,

I am working on a moodle 2.8 project.
Currently only teachers can give badges to students when they complete a course.
I would like to know if it's possible to automatically give a student a badge as soon as he finishes a course. No teacher interaction required.

You can set badges by activity completion so that if the student has completed all the activities required for the course to be complete then they will automatically get the badge. Here is the link to the Moodle 2.8 documentation on badges.
