General help

I'm still on 2.8 and I still have the ability to re-order...and wish I didn't.  Because once you reorder them, you can never get it to re-sort.  We have 5 years of training on our site and, because I have to test every darn thing, I have 172 courses on my list.  I'd like them in newest to oldest but I would have to manually move the newest courses from the very bottom to the very top every time I enroll in another course.  Sigh.  And there doesn't seem to be a user preference for put it back the way it was that impacts sort.
