We are using Moodle 3.2.4, and before in Moodle 3.0, when a teacher did a preview of the quiz, it would display their review options such as "showing the answer". Any ideas why? They have all the review options clicked in "Immediately after the attempt".
Nobody else has this problem? My Nursing faculty are not to happy about it.
I don't think this bit of the code has changed recently. Looking thorugh the history, the last changes that might have affected this are MDL-3030 and MDL-43874, but I don't think they did significant changes.
Have you altered any of your role definitions? This is affected by several capabilities like mod/quiz:grade, mod/quiz:viewreports, moodle/grade:viewhidden, moodle/grade:preview.
We figured out you just have to set the date to a current date and time and then it will work!
