I have upgraded to Moodle develop 2.0 so as to be able to download grades in Excel format and read them in Open Office. This works great for one course, but fails in two others. In the later cases, I receive the error message---
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/html/moodle/mod/assignment/lib.php on line 258
Any clues as to how to solve this problem?

Indeed! That is exactly what the problem was. I had a couple of assignments with no work turned in, thus no grades.
