Cannot add user in quiz

Hi,

      I am newbie to Moodle. I've version 3.3.1. I've created  the quiz, it got created successfully.

 Unfortunately I'm unable to add users. When i try user overrides, it gives me following message"No students have access to this quiz".

Please suggest some solution.

Do you have users in your site? Do you have users in your course? You don't add users to a quiz - you make a course, make a quiz and add users to the course as students and they can access the quiz right away. No need for any overrides.

Perhaps you can explain how you have set this up?
