Unable to complete Installation

Hi,

Starting a new installation with the latest 3.1 build with an empty db and empty moodledata folder, but I get to the step to set up the admin password, email address and timezone and it just loops back to the same page.

I have followed the instructions for securing the moodle docs and moodle data folders.

Not sure what is keeping it from completing.

Password meets the specs listed.

Any ideas what to check?

Just checking... you're absolutely sure you have all the required information? You need to supply the city and the country as well.

Are ports 80 and 443 opened in firewalls (network boundary as well a server FW itself) to the 'outside' world?

Yes, it is available internally and externally on 80 and 443.


I was able to get my previous upgrade attempt to work. I am now at 3.3.1+ and the basic front page loads (not with the correct theme) but the login link does not load. The browser error lists too many redirects.

I'll create a new post on this.
