Before I put in a tracker report...
Is there a reason why the 'compact logo' (assuming you have supplied one) is not displayed on the site home page? It just displays the text of the site name, not the logo
Hi Howard,
Ok.... nothing in the documentation.... https://docs.moodle.org/32/en/Logos#logocompact but... in testing in Boost on M3.3....
'core_admin | logocompact' and no 'core_admin | logo' then the front page shows the compact logo on the navbar with site title at the top of the page and on other pages on the navbar.
'core_admin | logocompact' and a 'core_admin | logo' then the frontpage does not show the compact logo in the navbar (but instead as a different colour short form site name with a link back to the site) but does on other pages and the 'logo' is shown at the top of the page on the frontpage.
Confused? So am I!
Gareth
I've been meaning to get this changed, but got side tracked.
Please feel free to open a tracker Howard.
Cheers
Mary
MDL-55445 says it all...
I'm probably being stupid (I know, I know), but I can't see anything there that says it shouldn't be displayed on the home page. What am I missing?
I have same problem on Moodle 3.3 and "More" theme. smalllogo in navbar disappears for Home and Login pages.
All other pages show both smalllogo and sitename in navbar. But if resolution goes below 480px width (mobiles) sitename disappears and only smalllogo stays. This is even more confusing as I would like to have sitename shown all the time! It looks weird, just logo with no name.
