Hi there,

You need to have either created the database and user to access it already, or use a username and password that can create it.

You should make sure that you follow each of the steps here - > https://docs.moodle.org/en/Installing_Moodle

Specifically, one step that may not have been done was this one -> https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/Installing_Moodle#Create_an_empty_database   and it has links on how to do it for these databases.

First, you have to create a database for moodle (Eg. moodleDB) and a user (Eg. Moodle_user) to manage this data base by MySQL. And then, you write moodleDB to the Database name and Mood_user to the Database user and password of the user in the Database password.

Goog luck!

Moodle requires you to install and configure a database program to store relevant information.

If you are setting up Moodle to test or practice with it, it's advisable to use a complete installation package. Moodle will take care of this setup for you.
