I currently have question banks in my quizzes that hold more questions that I want to ask during a quiz. How can I set a limit of how many questions should be asked? For example, I have a question bank of 50 questions for one quiz. I want them to be shuffled and only ask 30 questions. I do not have a particular 30 questions that I want them to view. They can receive any 30 questions (out of the 50). If a student takes this a second time, I want there to be a portion of different questions that are asked. I have not found any area allowing me to set a question limit from the bank of questions.

Choose the select random question option, then you can pick how many questions to select from which category.
Re: Setting question Limit for Quiz
Thank you Emma. I had created all of the questions for the question bank as regular essay questions. Is there a way to just say limit the questions being asked from the bank?
Would all of the questions need to be recreated as random questions in order to allow this option?
Re: Setting question Limit for Quiz
You can randomly pick up essay questions from the question bank.
Go to the Edit quiz page.
Click on the Add link (just below the Save button) and click 'a random question' (inserted screenshot), select the no. to limit the questions to be added to the quiz and then click the 'Add random question' button.
