Okay i am building a quiz for a client with 2 attempts allowed. If the user fails the 2nd attempt, i need to provide a different feedback for the user. so for example
fail after 1st attempt - okay you will be able to try again in 24 hours
fail after 2nd attempt - please refer back to your supervisor.
Is this possible. I am using the great Moodle 3.1

You could use completion settings and restrictions to create a label that appears after completion of the test with the appropriate message.

You could restrict based on the grade received...the restriction is unable to tell if it is the first or second attempt..

Well, i think that perhaps i will just add a feedback in the overall feedback section prompting the user for some action to their results...
