Is Moodle using the MySQL sys schema?

Hello!
We had a hardware failure and MySQL sys schema was corrupted. Is Moodle using the MySQL sys schema? Can I delete sys and recreate it from https://github.com/mysql/mysql-sys?
We use MySQL5.7.17-0 ubuntu0.16.04.1, Moodle 3.1.3 (Build: 20161114).

Seeing as the sys shema was introduced in MySQL 5.7 and Moodle 3.1 only requires 5.5.31 then I would infer not
