Hello,
we've created a test system of our moodle installation. But we had some trouble with the moodledata directory.
Due to a mistake the two systems shared the same moodledata directory. We deleted the courses in the test system and then we noticed that the systems still shared the moodledata directory. So we restored the data in the Live-System. Afterwards we copied (and renamed) the moodledata directory for the test system.
But now we've created the problem that there are only a few courses in the database of the test system but the data of all courses are in the moodledata directory for the test system.
We can'te delete the courses in the test system, because they are already deleted but we waste a lot of storage on our server if we keep the data of the courses in the moodledata directory of the test system.
Now I want to ask if there's a way to delete the courses from the moodledata folder directly?
How can I identfy which folder in the filedir directory belongs to which course?
Is it possible to exchange the moodledata directory with an empty moodledata directory?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Kind Regards,
Carina
