Hi all,
Today I saw David Bogner's post how he got the Administration Block (Edit gear in Boost) back. Adding the following line before $df->process_data(); in view.php of the Dataform module will bring back the Edit gear.
$PAGE->force_settings_menu(true);
I purged all caches after this change. Now I see the Edit gear in Dataform activities of Moodle 3.2 or higher with Boost themes.
If you do group peer reviews with the Dataform module using Boost themes, you may switch to the Clean theme just for making some changes and switch back to your Boost theme.
