User tours in different languages

Hi Mary,

I've downloaded a tour from the repository. It's a Dashboard tour in English, French and Spanish (mx).

I've tried it in our site. I've changed es_mx to es_es and I've added catalan (ca). But the text is shown in all languages, this is how it works?

We have Moodle 3.2.

Thank you

Hi- I have split your question from the original as it is on a different topic relating to user tours. Also, as user tours are now standard I am going to move this thread into the General forum smile

Thank you Mary.

This is an example of the tour I was talking about:

<span lang="en" class="multilang">Welcome</span>

<span lang="fr" class="multilang">Bienvenue</span>

<span lang="es" class="multilang">Bienvenido</span>

<span lang="ca" class="multilang">Benvinguts</span>

But I don't know why I just can see "WelcomeBienvenueBienvenidoBenvinguts"

Which lang is it? Is from the browser, the profile user?

Thank you again.

Hola Marga,

There's an additional thing to implement in Moodle for this, the Multilanguage content filter. Without this, your content will not display properly when working with multilingual stuff.
