How did you arrange to put a course (called "using moodle") under your main menu box on the main page, and call it "Community Forums" as a resource? I'd like to do the same thing. Is it tricky, or can you explain it to a challenged php'r like myself smile ? Did you just hard code it in somewhere, and if so, where do I add hard code to the main menu box (which php file?)

I am not sure how Martin did it... but here is one way it can be done.

  1. Turn editing on your main page
  2. Add a Resource
  3. Name: Whatever,  Type of Resource: Web Link, put a space in  Summary
  4. Add the link to the course you want.
  5. Uncheck "Display this resource in a new popup window"
  6. Save Changes
Presto... Main Menu link to a course.
