Layout of Hot Potato HTML file not preserved in Moodle

Layout of Hot Potato HTML file not preserved in Moodle

Hi all,

I am new to Moodle as well as HotPotatoes, so I apologize if this is a very simple question.

I created a test quiz in Hot Potatoes with the formatting I wanted in terms of background image, navigation bar colours, etc. However, when I upload it to moodle (along with the requisite background image), the formatting just switches to a dull grey, which I believe is moodle's default. How do I override this? I tried playing with the appearance settings to no avail.

Thanks,

Vidhya

Hi,
if you go to the configuration settings for the HotPot module ...

  • Site administration ▶︎ Plugins ▶︎ Activity modules ▶︎ HotPot module

... you will see the "Body styles" setting, which allows you specify the HotPot styles should override the Moodle styles.

Hope that helps smile
Gordon
