How to hide "Grading method: Highest grade"?

Is there a way to hide "Grading method: Highest grade" in Moodle 3.3 (Build: 20170515)?

I have not tried the link below, trying to avoid changes to Moodle core codes.

I tried to use custom css below but it's not working. Where did I go wrong?
