I'm using Moodle 3.2 version.
Defaultly all the activity modules are in sections, All the sections ( Topics ) are one after one as shown in attached.
Don't we have possible to make sections in Tab view as shown below attached?
Hi Rajakumar,
You can set one topic per page in the course format settings (see below).
Sounds like you need to change the course type to a plugin (like Onetopic format) to display the topics as tabs.
All the best,
Joe
Thanks Joe,
I have made changes as you suggested. That is working great,
The settings have to display topics per page wise.
But, i need in tab view. What to do to get like that?
Thanks in advance
Did you try the Onetopic plugin?
Hi Joe,
These are the settings i have in course settings using Onetopic plugin.
And the output like this.
Hi Rajakumar,
That looks odd indeed. I have just tried out the plugin on my version of Moodle 3.3 with the Boost theme and it looks fine.
I suggest you contact the plugin developer (David Herney Bernal) to see if he can explain why the tabs are showing up as html code. He is active in the plugin forum so you should get a reply quite promptly.
Best of luck,
Joe
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the reply.
This plugin working with boost theme.
I'm using Moodle version 3.2 and the theme is "moove".
I will contact the plugin developer as you suggested.
Thanks in Advance
Hi Rajakumar...
maybe you are using an old plugin format version or the theme has an error with the tabs render. Try with the "clean" theme in order to dismiss a problem with the "moove" theme.
On the other hand, what onetopic version you use?

Hi David,
I'm using the following.
Moodle version : 3.2
Theme : moove
Plugin version : $plugin->version = 2016071402;
I have downloaded the plugin from the following url.
https://moodle.org/plugins/format_onetopic
This plugin working awesome in "boost" and "clean" themes.
But, not in "moove" theme.
As you said earlier "the theme has an error with the tabs render", How can i solve this? Please help...
I'm bit new to Moodle.
Thanks in Advance.
Hi...
You need check the theme sources, find the tabs render method and remove it or correct it... or ask by the "moove" theme developer for it :D
The method name is render_tabtree or something like that.

Hi David,
I have managed with css, and removed "div" tags in render.php file in "onetopic" plugin at line no 289.
And finally got the result.
Thanks for the plugin. It's awesome.
