Hello, I'm Bob Simpson a Moodle Administrator for the Fire Academy with South Carolina State Fire.
We upgraded to 3.2.3 last Tuesday and have not been able to get our email confirmation working. Image of error message is attached.
My IT , partner on the server side has not been successful in resolving this error. We upgraded from 3.1.3 Build 20161114 to 3.2.3 Build 2o170508.
He did not see anything obvious that looks wrong in the SMTP setup. Looked at the settings in Site Administration - Server - Email - Outgoing Mail Configuration. We logged into the Gmail account using the SMTP username & password and can see that the last email went out on Tuesday around 10:30ish on 6-8.
We really need some help to get this fixed. I'm also the help desk and I getting calls daily along with email to confirm accounts.
Is anyone else having this issue? If so please provide help.
