Dear moodle forum
Is it possible to insert a link where the login user name appears in the link on their front page?
I need the link to the user's onedrive account So they are automatically logged in, but this requires the user name in the link to be replaced for each user
Right now we use ladp to logon and it is moodle version 3.3
Hope some can help!

Haven't tried it so not sure if it will work in your use case, but you can select variables to append to a URL:

It's just part of the settings for a normal URL resource: https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/URL_resource_settings#URL_variables
As mentioned, have never used it so will be interesting to know if it works for you
