For Moodle 3.1.1 (we're looking at upgrading to 3.4 over summer)...
We're designing a course where a student does NOT to have 'complete' all activities - the idea is that for a certain criteria, if they are a hands on learner they may do one activity but a theoretical learner will do the other - but to tick that criteria they have to have done OR the other from those two. This case will be repeated multiple times throughout the course, across multiple units.
I accept this will probably have to be setup for tracking at course level vs activity level, but how do we do this? I envisage using the Progress Bar block so a student can see how they're doing. Ideally per unit (each section in the course is a unit) but as long as there is a way of somehow reviewing overall progress, that is the aim. The course currently uses Grid format too.
