Unenroling Student removes grades

Hi,

We are using 3.2 and I wanted to make sure that the if I allow students to unenrol themselves from a course.... that they will not lose their grades. I have read that you can re-enrol a student and check an option which will add the grade back for them.

However if my Teachers are doing this (and i am not sure I agree with them having this privilege) there is a chance that they will not check this ad the grades will not be re-instated.

What are others thought on self unenrolment for students? Is it a good idea?

Hi Leticia,

You can make sure the Recover user's old grades if possible' checkbox is ticked by default by enabling 'Recover grades default' recovergradesdefault in the Site administration.
