I use activity completion restrictions in all our courses and sometimes PLD restrictions, but have a few facilitators that want to start using the release code. I'm not sure if I don't fully understand what a release code is, or if I'm setting it up incorrectly. Is the release code a code the instructor gives the student, and then the student is prompted to type in the code as they click on the activity? Or, is it a restriction (paired with PLD) that automatically unlocks the particular activity once the student meets the requirements?
