Unable to upload media to Moodle.

Unable to upload media to Moodle.

I have a fresh install of Moodle and I installed the Kaltura plugin.  Everything seems fine until I try to upload a video file using Dashboard->Site home->My Media at which point I get a message "Invalid URL" and am unable to upload anything.  There is a link "More information about this error," and if I click on it it states "This page does not exist yet. You can search for this page title in other pages, or let us know by posting about it in one of the Moodle community forums".

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

From what I know about Kaltura (which is just a little), it's a commercial video streaming service.  I would think the video that is uploaded isn't uploaded to your Moodle, but to a Kaltura server/service somewhere on the net.

The error about invalid URL sounds like the plugin hasn't been configured ... that's a guess ... like I said, don't use Kaltura.

Is this the addon?

If so, that is a 'package' that requires placing the contents of the unzipped plugin locally to put the kaltura software into filter, lib, local, and mod of Moodle code.    See pic for an idea.

There are also some bugs ... dunno if one of them is like yours, but check it out:
