Display Errors Warning Message

Hi Everyone,

Just finished a new Moodle 3.2.2 install on SiteGround.  Everything is going well and their support has been first rate.  Just one or two questions for the community.

  1. In the notification area I am seeing the message "Enabling the PHP setting display_errors is not recommended on production sites because some error messages may reveal sensitive information about your server"  As far as I can tell display_errors is turned of and I am not in debugging mode.
  2. Install.php is still in my site root.  Should't this have been removed when the installation process completed?  Can I go ahead and delete it?

Simon,

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find a resolution?

1. I wouldn't worry about that message if it's a hassle to turn it off. It's highly unlikely to be an issue.

2. Don't delete bits of Moodle.
