I would like to have a connection between Moodle and the software Jenkins.
Imagine following scenario:
A Moodle participant has chosen a course about the software DOORS or IMS or Jenkins in Moodle. First he is reading the introduction slides, now he has to do a task. He has to do that task in the external Tool.
The software Jenkins checks the status of the project in the external tool.
Problem: How does moodle know whether the task in the external tool is done or not? How can I make a connection betwenn moodle and jenkins?
Would this connection be possible thorugh web services? If yes, could you give me some advises where to start? What to so?
Or would that also be possible without the software Jenkins which would in that case check the status of the project periodically?
