Just wanted to confirm the calculation for the following scenario.
I have a professor with an assignment category set to a weighted aggregation.
The category is also set to drop the lowest grade for that category.
The professor set one item to a zero weight, since it was a practice activity.
For at student with a grade item weighted at zero, but that same item is also the lowest grade, it will also be the grade dropped, correct? I suggested that the professor move any practice, non-graded items to a separate category, rather than weighting them at zero, so that the practice items are not the dropped score.
Sound right?
