Is the documentation on Group API up to date?
I'm looking at the page https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Groups_API and I'm having difficulty returning the group mode of the course with
groups_get_course_groupmode($COURSE->id)
which seemingly returns null not SEPARATEGROUPS as I would expect. If it helps I'm building a block which will display either group members or all users depending on group settings so I need to know the course's group mode.
I'm baffled if anyone could advise I would be grateful.
