On [moodle]/admin/settings.php?section=navigation we can set the Navigation bar to show course categories (Show my course categories navshowmycoursecategories) but this applies to all users.
As teachers and admins, we are enrolled in courses that share categories with hidden courses or courses we aren't enrolled and and we need to quickly navigate between categories, so we want to have the full category list available for these users. HOWEVER, I want students to retain the simpler My Courses breadcrumb trail.
Is there a way to set navigation by role?
