I try to find an answer to this but I have failed so far.
We use Forum both for the students to send in an assignment (by using post a new thread/post) but also to comments and read the other students sent in assignments. This is actually part of the assignment, to read and comment. The discussion of the assignments are important.
The students have a deadline to send in their assignment but after that they are given time to comment/read other assignments for another week.
However this give the student opportunity to add their assignment after deadline (which they do). Is there a way to stop the students to add their assignment (start a new thread) from a certain date but let them continue to read and comment on their fellow students assignment.
Or is it a better way to handle this way of teaching?
I do hope you understand my questions and I do hope someone has an answer.
