Re: Internal script failure - On logging in

Resolved after disabling all unwanted authentication methods in authentication plugin other than manual login and LDAP.

So how was you able to disable authentication methods if you were not able to login? Please explain. I have the same problem.

Site administration ->Plugins->Authentication->Manage authentication

I had to disable all and keep manual login.

How did you get to "Site administration ->Plugins->Authentication->Manage authentication" without logging in.

Hi,

You need to be logged-in since is an admin setting!

Re: Internal script failure - On logging in

I think it was not that he can't login into the system. The problem was that it was giving the error "internal script error" when a wrong or empty username is provided when a user try logging in. It should show an error like "Invalid login, please try again" and should redirect the user to the same page.

it was solved when CAS server (SSO) disabled. The only authentication method enabled are email based self-registration and manual authentication.

You can find these option here:

Site administration -> Plugins -> Authentication -> Manage authentication

This is a problem with a bad configured authentication plugin.

In the FAQS is mentioned something similar: https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/Moodle_Mobile_FAQ

The ADOdb debug option is disabled if you are using the external database auth or enrolment plugin (in Plugins > Authentication > External database and in Plugins > Enrolment > External database).
