How to embed POWERPOINT animated presentations into Moodle without using OneDrive or SlideShare or any other serveur.

Dear Moodlers,

We are using:

Moodle 3.1 (Postgresql 9.2.2; PHP Version 5.5.26) with
Server RedHatEnterpriseServer 5.3 Tikanga (Apache/2.2.4) RAM 32GB; CPU 8 GHz,

We are trying to find a way to embed POWERPOINT presentations (that already have animations) into our Moodle,

The problem we are facing that, using the File ressource type, whatever appearance we choose (even embed) it also download the POWERPOINT presentation,

Is there a plugin or a way to adapt (other than using OneDrive, SlideShare or any other server or even transforming it into PDF because it will lose all animations) in order to embed POWERPOINT presentation into Moodle?

Hi Mario,

The only way I can think of using a presentation in Moodle is to export it first as a swf file, then embed the resulting file in a Moodle page or label.

You might also be able to construct your presentation directly in Moodle using the iContent activity module. It has various slide transitions built in but your other animations may or may not work depending on what they are.
