Currently using the lesson feature in moodle 3.1 to provide multiple choice questions to re-enforce learning in a careers eLearning course.
I want students to be able to only take the question once on working through the lesson because whether they answer rightly or wrongly, they receive feedback on their answer. However, If 2 weeks later, the user wants to be able to take the lesson again, I want them to have ability to submit an answer as before.
I haven't found a way to do this so at the moment users are receiving the following notification and can't take the question:
Had the following advice on settings which doesn't seem to work for me:
- Flow control - Maximum number of attempts – 1 (allows only one attempt at each question, per attempt)
- Grade - Re-takes allowed – Yes (allows unlimited number of re-takes on each Lesson). These two settings then ensure the lesson can be re-taken while only allowing one attempt at each question within the quiz pages.
Really appreciate any advice that someone may be able to offer
