Quiz for engineer students

Hi there!

Previously I had posted my problem in the quiz section, but we could not solve my problem there.

My problem:

I operate a Moodle system for our engineer students. We make them calculate a number of not very complex problems (mainly *, +, -, ^). The quezes look like as follows: we have e.g. 100 input parameter combinations, they get one of these randomly, then provide e.g. 6 results (partial calculations) with a given tolerance. Presently, we use cloze tests, where it is possible to include several expected values with a tolerance and weight, but we cannot upload many cloze tests as e.g. GIFT at a time, just one by one (ot compatible). The creation of cloze test is automated, but its upload is time consuming. We cannot use calculated tests either, because only one eypected answer is accepted.

My question is: where to search the solution? Would an RQP server be a solution (if yes, which (opensource if possible)) or shall I try to integrate e.g. webwork instead? A hint would be very useful, because I have no experience in this field, and a wrong direction may consume several days or weeks.

Many thanks in advance!
