We keep having to enter our logins to gain access, I'm new to Moodle so any help is appreciated.
That is normally a browser issue but there is also a setting in Moodle that allows or disallows the saving of usernames in the browser. You might check that (under security I believe).
the thing is no changes were made however we did apply a MS Silverlight update could this have broken Moodle ?
To the moodle server? Is this a Windows server? When you say you have to enter your credentials, is this to Moodle or to the Moodle server?
We are running Moodle on a Windows 2008R2 Server.
We used to be able to login automatically (transparently) to the Moodle server which is running on IIS 7.5. Now every time we browse to it displays a login box then allows us to enter.
We have not implemented any changes on our end
I am still a little confused - you say Moodle server but I think you mean that the sso is not working to Moodle application...perhaps you have not made changes to moodle server but to ldap server? Hard to tell - obviously something has changed somewhere. Could someone have changed settings to your LDAP plugin?
If you actually mean Moodle server and not application, then this is a Windows server question and not a moodle question.
Ok We are running Moodle as an application inside IIS7.5
I'm a first time user and am not sure were to start troubleshooting.
Were can I check LDAP errors in Moodle
I'm very lost at the moment any help is appreciated.
From my further investigations this issue appears to be with the Moodle Database as it seems that it is not soring logins so Ldap is working but SSO is not.
I have checked all settings and cant seem to find any errors.
