I have a BTEC engineering department who will be subject to an External verifier, in the last visit the lecturers produced reams of paper for the verification which is costly and time consuming. As many of the assignment s are quiz based that although can give just answers there is an extensive section dedicated to how answers are arrived at - as well as normal uploading of student prepared presentations with notes this will be a huge task.
Has anyone got any best practice they can share - that saves time/paper . As I am not an educator I was wondering about letting them access the learning directly but wanted to see if others went down this avenue ? Currently the Moodle version we have is 2.7.7 and the department has numerous groups set up as they are made up of part-time and full time students
