I'm pleased to announce the release of Essential for Moodle 3.2 in 'Beta' form, so please don't put on production servers unless you want to take the risk.

One of the criteria for this version was looking at the logo and specifically the compact logo that is now found in M3.2. I found that the core settings are just image upload settings with the compact logo being used in different places, but with no responsive or size settings. Following on from this post: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=348234 - I decided that setting the logo size as a fixed one was rubbish. Therefore I have made it responsive with a percentage value of the available width of the header as controlled by the 'pagewidth' setting. There are two new settings 'logodesktopwidth' and 'logomobilewidth' as mobile devices have a different layout. If this proves to be a good solution then I will consider back-porting to past Moodle versions.
Another new feature is the inclusion of 'Switch role to' on the user menu when your capability allows it.
Please do test this 'Beta' version on a test server and report any issues on this thread. But please do keep the problems as 'issues' with this version as supplied ONLY - thank you. Once I'm happy that everything is ok then I'll publish a stable version and make a start on the M3.3 version.
