Enrollment notifications - Is there a way to set them up?

Hello,

I just started using Authorize.net enrolment plugin. Although I have selected the options - Notify Student, Notify Teacher and Notify Admin -  no one gets notified when student gets enrolled (picture attached).

Is there any site level or course level setting I need to adjust for this?

When I used the PayPal plugin - everyone received these notifications... So, I'm wondering if the plugin doesn't work well or I should do another setting as well.

1. Is it a well tested and stable version?

2. If I install the new version - will I have to setup the API, Transaction Key and Default Response Relay again?

3. Will I need to update the parameters on the server file?

4. If it doesn't work well - will I be able to go back to the older version?

Please find the responses below

1. Is it a well tested and stable version?

Ans:- Yes

2. If I install the new version - will I have to setup the API, Transaction Key and Default Response Relay again?

Ans:- No, just replace the old files with the new downloaded files.

3. Will I need to update the parameters on the server file?

Ans:- This point is not clear. Please note there are no extra settings or changes that you have to make.

4. If it doesn't work well - will I be able to go back to the older version?

Ans:- Yes. Please do keep a backup of the old Authorize.net enrolment plugin in case anything goes wrong.

Ans:- yes

Ans:- just zip the authorizedotnet directory from your_moodle_folder/enrol/ directory

  • If the new one doesn't work well - would I need to install the ZIP package of the old version again?
Ans:- no new installation is required as the version is same. Just you have to replace with old files.
  • Would that delete the current settings for Transaction key, API, etc.?
Ans:- No
