I want to integrate a LTI complaint to tool to moodle. Since the launch is LTI1.1 compatible I'm planning on using the "External Tool" option to integrate this tool with moodle.
The tool will be integrated at Course Level ( link to launch the external tool at course level) and once the tool is launched, in the tool side Instructors are able to create many assignments.
Similarly for students the tool will be launch-able again in course level, once the tool is launched in the tool side the student can attempt any assignment the instructor has created.
I'll need to create Grade Columns in moodle when instructor create & publishes the assignment in the tool side. And once a student attempts an assignment and finishes the assignment I should be able to send back the grade to moodle, for that specific assignment and for student.
I have gone through the LTI Outcomes2 Services and that would seem to cater this requirement, but it looks like it's still not supported in moodle.
When or which release is this service planned to be implemented in moodle?
What other options are there to cater this requirement?
