I have courses where the user can self enrol.  This is set to 270 or 365 days on a course by course basis.

When users enrol, the course does not appear in the calendar.  It would be very good to have either the whole length of the course in the calendar (blocked out for 270 days) or the start and end date/time showing in the calendar.

I would then ask the users to sync their moodle calendar with their outlook calendar and have a really cool reminder system.

Is this possible?

Moodle is doing a calendar overhaul - I had actually asked for this to be a part of it though I think the course start and end dates should be global events.  I would suggest putting in a tracker item.
