Themes based on 'Base' and 'Clean' in Moodle 3.3

Hello,
After the successful update to Moodle 3.2 we are planing for 3.3, one issue being our custom theme. Will themes based on the old Bootstrap Base and Clean themes still work in Moodle 3.3? I did not find an answer in the documentation, so any help would be appreciated.

Bootstrapbase and clean are likely to be in core for a few more versions yet, and then - just like standard and the other older themes will be moved to the plugins database so they will still be available for those who want to install them at that point. I certainly haven't heard any plans to deprecate them for 3.3. I don't think there is a published timescale as yet, simply comments around 'a few versions'.
