Thank you for that info. I am having a significant problem right now, taking over for an admin who left and working with limited skills in moodle.
We are on 3.1.2 and cannot upgrade for the next week or so (going to 3.1.5 for security fix). We have PDF Feedback/Submission plugins enabled (if they affect this process) 2.5+ builds 201605200 and 2014022700.
soffice.bin is maxed out 100%CPU and it didn't seem to help when I removed just one file (lowest id) from the queue table. The scheduled task \assignfeedback_editpdf\task\convert_submissions just shows ASAP and hasn't run in a couple of days.
We have about 400 documents in the queue at this time. I queried and found there is a large assortment of file types in there - proprietary engineering files with .SLDRW, .SLDPRT, and the various office files( .xlsx,.pptx,.rtf,.doc,.docx), .m looks like computer code, .jpg, .mp3, .html, .gif, .mepx, and .pdf
Is it normal for all submissions to go to the queue regardless of file type?
It would be nice to pull out just the file types that don't work if possible. Is the issue list you reported the only place where unsupported file types are listed? On the other hand, it appears you said I can leave those in, kill soffice.bin, and how should I restart it, please?
When I try to run unoconv command line it just hangs, like it does via the UI.
Any info appreciated!
