Upgraded to 3.2, admin unable to connect to courses

hi

after upgrading to 3.2 I find that as a the admin I am unable to connect to the courses or create new ones. Strangely, ordinary users are able to connect and interract and so the paths are correct.

I am using php v 5.6 and mysqli, I am not sure which version.

Is anyone able to help with this problem?

sorted

a plugin called "badge ladder" was the problem

once deleted all good
