I have been trying to edit the date showing for forum posts where we may have later edited slightly but want the post to remain in its original chronological order.
I thought I had succeeded by changing the modified date to match the created date in the database 'mdl_forum_posts' but find this only changes the date visible when you view the actual post.
The date showing in the main forum posts list under 'last post' still shows the last edited date, so the post goes to the top of the most recent posts, instead of staying in its original chronological order.
Can anyone tell me where this second date is pulled from in the database?
