Hi All,

While taking a moodle course bacup. The file is created in the following format

backup-moodle2-course-15-20170117-0433.mbz.

In the above  give file name , I hope that 20170117 is the date of file created and 0433 is the time.

I want to manually create a download url for this file in that how will I get the date and time of the file name at the end.

Is it from the mdl_backup_controllers table?  If so which time we should take time created or time modified

Thanks

Vysakh

Yes, the name contains the date (yyyy-mm-did format) and the time hmm format.

You can download the file by going to the directory it is saved in. Obviously you need administrator rights on the server to do this.

However, if course backups are being saved in the course files area (I think that's the default) then they can easily be accessed from Administration > Restore.

PS - there is also a switch to include the course name in backup files, which personally I find easier to deal with smile
