The moodle community grows and grows. In this process it is a big point that basic handling process are the same in all learning activities.
If I look to 1.5 I found some fields where we have different handlings
- presettings in the modules administrations as default for all instances in courses
only in some activities
- hiding not often used settings in a separate area (advanced settings) in quiz module, but not in other modules
- results of a hotpot quizzez are on a separate site with all hotpot activities of the course
- different layouts for the setting pages of activities in courses.
I think there will be a lot of other points if we begin searching.
A professionell software must not have only professionell functions, but also the same handling in the same processes of different activities and the same visualization.
I'm not a developer. I don't know how much work it is to change this points. But I feel it is a relevant point for the future.
Did we need something like standards for some processes and for basics of visualization? Or did we need a quality and usability check before publishing new versions for this points?
